Get the terms in writing before paying anything

Ask for the payment schedule, what each payment covers, and the cancellation policy — in writing, before any money changes hands. This applies to any provider, anywhere.

Ask what is not included

The exclusions are where surprises live: flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, and any additional procedures our specialised medical team requests for your case. Ask for them as a written list.

Be cautious with unusual payment requests

Requests to pay through unusual channels, or pressure to pay a large amount immediately before you have written terms, deserve pause. Legitimate arrangements can be explained and documented.

Keep a record of everything

Keep the written plan, the payment terms, your receipts and your correspondence together. If a question arises later, you will have the record.

Understand refunds and changes

Ask what happens if the plan changes for medical reasons, and how refunds are handled. Understanding this beforehand avoids difficulty later.

Ask who you are paying

Confirm whether you are paying the clinic or an intermediary, and what each party is responsible for. You are entitled to a clear answer.

Take your time

No legitimate arrangement requires you to decide before your questions are answered. Time is your best protection.

How Jelan Clinic handles payment terms

At Jelan Clinic, the payment schedule, what each payment covers, and the cancellation policy are set out in writing before any payment is made. We do not offer discounts or inducements. If something matters to your decision, ask for it in writing — that is a reasonable request, and we treat it as one.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I expect to pay?

We cannot give a general figure that applies to everyone: the cost depends on your case, the technique and what the programme includes. Ask for a written breakdown for your own case rather than relying on a general number — from any provider.

Should I pay a deposit before receiving written terms?

Ask for the terms in writing first. That is a reasonable expectation for any significant arrangement.

What if I am asked to pay through an unusual method?

Pause and ask for the arrangement to be documented. Being asked to move quickly, or through an unusual channel, is a reason to slow down.
