How Jelan Clinic works with patients travelling from Sweden and Norway: remote assessment before travel, a written plan, and follow-up that continues after you return home.
What does Jelan Clinic do for a patient in Sweden or Norway?
We coordinate. You send your photographs and medical history, we prepare your file, our specialised medical team assesses your case and makes every medical decision, you receive a written plan before committing to anything, and we arrange the journey and keep the follow-up channel open after you return home. Our specialised medical team decides when you are fit to travel home.
How Jelan Clinic works
Suitability, technique, medication, timing and fitness to travel are decided by our specialised medical team for your case. Our coordinating team arranges your journey and does not make medical judgements.
The programme, what it includes and excludes, and the expected length of stay are put in writing before you commit. A question that cannot be put on paper is not really answered.
We do not offer discounts or inducements, we do not promise outcomes, and we do not present treatment as risk-free. Decisions about surgery should rest on the medical picture.
You will not be given a deadline to decide. If you need weeks, take weeks.
Travelling from Sweden or Norway
The assessment begins before any travel is arranged, so you know the position before you book flights.
No return date is agreed before your condition is stable — safety comes before the itinerary.
Your coordination stays in one channel so your history, photographs and plan stay together.
Coordination is available in English, Arabic and Turkish, with interpreting where it is needed.
Insurance and documents
Treatment abroad is generally not covered by national health arrangements in Sweden or Norway. Confirm your own position directly with your own authority or insurer before travelling.
Arrange comprehensive travel insurance and ask your insurer in writing what is and is not covered. We do not advise on insurance and do not recommend policies.
Check current entry requirements for Türkiye with the official authorities. We do not provide visa advice.
