What to send before you travel

Send your medical history, current medication, allergies and any previous surgery or procedures. Being complete here is what allows our specialised medical team to assess your case properly.

Why the medication list matters

Include everything you take, including anything you take without a prescription, supplements and anything you take occasionally. Interactions and timing are matters for our specialised medical team, and they need the full picture to assess them.

Bring records with you

Carry a written list of your medication and relevant records in hand luggage. If you are asked about your treatment during travel, you will have the information to hand.

Tell our specialised medical team about changes

If anything changes between your assessment and your appointment — new medication, illness, a change in weight — tell the team before you travel so our specialised medical team can review it.

Medication around the procedure

Questions about starting, stopping or changing any medication are medical decisions. They are answered by our specialised medical team, not by the coordinating team, and they are answered for your specific case.

Privacy of your information

Your medical information and photographs are used only to review your case with our specialised medical team. They are not published.

How Jelan Clinic handles your records

At Jelan Clinic, we organise the information you send — history, medication, allergies, previous procedures — into a complete file so our specialised medical team reviews a full picture rather than a partial one. Questions about starting, stopping or changing medication are answered by our specialised medical team for your case; we do not answer them, and we do not advise on medication.

That is a medical decision and only our specialised medical team can answer it for your case. Ask the team to have our specialised medical team review it — do not change any medication on your own.

What if my medication changes before my appointment?

Tell the coordinating team before you travel so our specialised medical team can review the change.

Are my records kept private?

Yes. Your information and photographs are used only to review your case with our specialised medical team and are not published.
